Pulse Star Detector and Arc-Geo Logger

May show possible underground foundation!

This is a location that is currently being worked. The site was discovered with the LRL500. The initial setting was square wave and then switch to IC. when the IC was turned on the Image moved about 50-75 feet according to the users. After shrinking the rings down and almost canceling the target, the line was walked and the image location made. Then they took a pulse star PI detector and the Arc-Geo logger and setup a 10x20 yard grid. Two grids were sampled, one in the all metal and one with discrimination.

When the data was downloaded and viewed, to their amazement a foundation of some sort was revealed! It only showed up in the all metal mode of the PI. The target area is clearly seen in one corner of the foundation! The pulse star along with the logger detected changes in soil conditions along with the target itself! You could not ask for a better plot! There is even a rounded section of the foundation at x2, y14. The target in question is located at x5, y7 in the corner. This site is still being worked, but I just wanted to show the advantage of the Arc-Geo Logger. The target was exactly in the marked area made with the LRL500! Remember on square wave the users would have been 50 to 75 feet away digging an empty hole.

Update: I'm only relating facts told to me at this point. So I will say that it is a possible foundation until we verify it with further testing. The facts are there was a structure of some kind known to be in the area in the late 1800's. Of course it is long been down. So for now we will wait for more information from those on this site. I will keep you posted.

NOTE: This Info is Re-Written here, Exactly as it was given to me in the E-mails. I make no claims on the accuracy or validity of these tests/reports.

4/19/05    More has come in on this site. From the sources that are working the site tell me that it is the site of the old house. The have found pottery and other evidence at this site.

If you cannot see this 3D download the plugin from the Arc-Geo page.

If you cannot see this 3D download the plugin. Use the different controls to view the 3D.

Here you can see the first hole that was dug in blue and the targets in red/orange. The hole was about 3 feet across and 5 feet deep. A pulse star was used with the logger.

The Arc-Geo Logger is an awesome unit to use with LRL/MFD unit's. You can do a plot and see ALL targets within the marked location. I would like to thank those involved for sharing this information. Again the Arc-Geo shows to be an awesome instrument in treasure hunting and other fields of search!
